Home Support

You may choose to work on our domiciliary service, providing ongoing support to individuals who want to remain in their own homes within their local community. Care provision is completely built around the person's needs and routines. You will receive ongoing training, and we will ensure you are competent in providing the support that is required.

Many people are opting for domiciliary care, otherwise known as care at home, because it puts them back in control of the support they receive. With one-to-one personal attention, from 30 minutes a week and up to several visits a day or overnight support, care plans are completely built around the individual.

Working on this service you will provide a wide range of everyday tasks, including:

Personal and continence care
Managing medication
Helping an individual to mobilise in and around their home
Accompanying an individual to medical appointments or social outings
Household tasks and meal preparation
Clinical care, including catheter and stoma management and PEG feeding

Re-enablement

Sometimes people just need short term care provision, whether it is to support them or their loved one during a short period of illness, helping to get them back on their feet following an operation, or even to help build confidence after a fall.
